It’s been a swell three years. Many thanks to those of you whom have enjoyed Homegrown Smoker Vegan Barbecue’s downtown location. Next week will be our last week there, with Wednesday being the last day we will be open. HGS2 carries on, located at Mississippi Marketplace.
Support 100% independent Vegan businesses first and often, enjoy the others on occasion. May the farce be with you, always. Peace!

  1. I will make the trip across the river for you!

  2. Man, I miss one week and you close up shop!
I have to admit I am experiencing a mixture of sadness with a bit of anger.
It’s like I kickstarter-ed myself out of my weekly goodness.
It will be infrequent but I will make the trek to support y’all.

To the best chef i ever worked for, too bad im not out there to enjoy some of that vegan food. The food looks killer. Im in Tennessee now north of Chattanooga. I did make it to Bonarroo a few years back to catch Bob Weir. Miss you man… Lee

  4. We have a unique book on plant based meals made on a barbeque grill that people are just loving. –GRILLS GONE VEGAN– I thought you may want to add it or review it on your site. For those who need to reduce meat, it is possible to eat healthy and not give up the mouth watering flavors of grilled food. A digital sampler is available for review, and also a hard copy. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Mary Ellen, maryellen@bookpubco.com
